Seriously:
Why doesn't Flash obey my commands?
Why isn't it as intuitive as it seems to be? Or should be?
Why doesn't it matter if the timeline is set to tiny or large? Why is it so damn hard to read?
Why won't this story just tell itself?
Why am I blogging instead of working on Flash?

it'll be okay. and your list reads a little like a poem
I thought you might want to check out this van halen video for some ideas on animating typography for your project.

I am trying to figure out why flash insists my movie is only 1 minute 20 seconds and when I actually time it as it plays it's pretty damn close to 2 minutes...
I am learning flash is touchy.
Good luck wrestling flash. I liked that your movie was text heavy. Can't wait to see your revision. :)
Mark- thanks. I remember this video from back in the day. So, A) nice blast from the past. B) This video aligns with what I was trying to do, except with a more somber tone.
The video begs one question:
Is it a problem that the images and text are not "graphically consistent?" Or does that speak to the content?
In any case, I really appreciate you passing this along and getting my brain going. It helps me bring my film from (essentially) a slide show presentation to animation.
I really wish we had more time with this project. Would have been a good running project-long semester.
Glad the video helped, it does do a good job going from up beat to depressing with basically the same music going.
